12 Reasons to put Icelands M1 On Your Bucket List

For such a small and isolated landmass Iceland packs a massive punch for anyone paying it a visit. The M1 is Iceland’s prominent ring-road and in essence, a highway, but that doesn’t stop it from offering awe inspiring views around every corner.

So while this 1,332 kilometers route allows you to circumnavigate the country and explore Iceland, here’s a few sights along the way that are simply mind blowing and pay homage to the Iceland’s ever changing and ever creative landscape.

Apparently you could take 18 hours but we’d recommend at least a week or two to soak it all up, oh and wait for fine weather, which is possibly Iceland’s weakest point.
