Spider City in Bali

Spider City in Bali

Visit Bali: visit Spider City

Drive the right way out of Kuta and you’ll hit South Bali, one of Bali’s fantastic and remote destinations. But while cruising on your moped, enjoying the sights and smells (and wondering whether to have your second nasi-goreng of the day) you might be distracted by a haunting scene. Thousands of spiders hanging mid-air, or Spider City as we call it.

How close would you get to Spider City?

As big as your face, these spiders scurry about their webs minding their own business but watching them simultaneously drop from the sky with a sporadic gust of wind is disturbing. To see this eerie but fascinating sight you must keep your eyes peeled to the East while passing between Jimbaran and Bingin.
